Seeley's colorful and brilliant Decorator China Paint Line and our lead-free clear glazes
(GGL150 for high fire and G500 for low fire) are perfect for painting decorative items
such as jewelry, china and Parian dolls, half dolls, clowns, all-bisque dolls, figurines,
plates, and any other glazed porcelain surface. This line of paint is formulated to be
applied to glazed porcelain, where it yields spectacularly brilliant color. You can also use
on un-glazed porcelain. Decorator china paints mix best with Seeley's Ultra Fine Line
Medium, and can be used with any other water or oil based media. China paints fire
beautifully at cone 018, and to get a deep "Meissen" style gloss, fire hotter up to cone
017 on most colors.
The high-fire clear glaze (GGL150) can be applied over soft-fired bisque and then fired
to cone 6 and our low-fire clear glaze (G500) can be applied directly on the mature
bisque where it can be fired to a cone 06.
